When I noticed a slump in my product sales, I’d get a few of my co-workers to do this exercise together. We’d all do the visualization and within hours our sales would start to increase. It’s an excellent exercise to make into a daily habit!
Increase your success
Instead of starting your day in the usual way, try this out for a week to experience an increase in your successes. Once you see the returns it brings, you’ll do it any time you want more success.
Before you do any work, find somewhere quiet – sit in your chair (or in your car if you’re about to enter an office), and imagine your target market geographically. If you service the world, imaging the world. If you service an town/city, imagine the town/city.
Visualize yourself as a white dot of light and see your whole geographic population of people as other white dots. Imagine that everyone is connected back to you through a tiny string of light.
Then think of the kind of people that you want to attract to your business – include clients, suppliers and even potential partners. Request the kind of people that you can serve and help and send the message out to everyone through the tiny lines of light. (When I do this I choose to only attract people that have similar values as me – I don’t want to attract problematic clients!)
Pretend that some dots of lights get larger once they get your ‘message’. These are the people that will need your product or service. Imagine that they’ve received your message.
Now let go of the image. Settle yourself at your desk and turn your attention to what action feels best to do next. Refrain from doing what you always do (ex. check your email).
Doing the same thing you have done will get you the same results you currently have. Shake things up a bit. Jump into the flow of life rather than settle for a routine that isn’t working.
