Job Requirements

The role will involve developing an understanding of the layout and components within the nuclear industry, collaborating with engineering designers, and generating CAD models and definitions to a high standard.

• Production of integrated layout solutions from concept design through to manufacturing, assembly and construction designs as per the design engineers specifications.
• Production of component CAD models and component definitions to the customer standards.
• Production of 2D process and instrumentation diagrams, and ventilation system diagrams.
• Support the development of product configuration and data management.
• Ensure that quality is maintained throughout the customer project lifecycle by undertaking appropriate peer reviews of models and component definitions.
• Support the setting up and maintenance of CAD environments, including templates, content, standards, QA processes, training material, etc.
• Support the CAD/BIM Team and wider project teams with CAD expertise, training, and mentoring of junior members of staff when required.

Work Experience

Siemens NX (including Diagramming, Routed System Designer and other routing tools).
