Our UK facility is the European Maintenance Centre Hub for the SHE Group, performing level 1 to level 3 maintenance and repairs on complex helicopter engine components. What will I be doing?
To undertake all Assembly/Disassembly processes, Cleaning (as required), Detail/visual inspection, Balancing, Assembly, Testing and Bench related activities within Accessories areas. Carry out activities in accordance with OEM manuals and work instructions.

  • Support flexibility across the Accessories areas, which, from time to time, may reasonably be required to meet the needs of Safran Helicopters UK Limited.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes and working practice and take responsibility for implementing these.
  • Ensure good housekeeping standards are consistently maintained.
  • Ensure that products and services meet the requirements of customers, quality standards and airworthiness authorities.
  • Work in accordance with HSE legislation, the Company Operating Systems, policies and procedures.
  • Actively demonstrate the Company Values & Behaviours.

Job requirements

What do you need from me?

  • Apprenticeship in Aerospace organisation or equivalent sector

Minimum of 3 years continuous experience in the Assembly/MRO of units and/or components

  • Aerospace environment
  • MRO component balancing/assembly processes and practices
  • Testing and analysis test data
  • Mechanical Assembly techniques and processes
  • Balancing theory (preferred)
  • Testing of assembled equipment
  • 5s Improvements
