What You’ll Be Doing
As an ADHD Assessor, you will play a pivotal role in the assessment process for clients seeking ADHD diagnosis and support. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive ADHD assessments through interviews, questionnaires, and diagnostic tools.
- Developing individualized assessment reports and recommendations for treatment plans based on your findings.
- Collaborating with other members of the clinical team to ensure a seamless assessment experience for clients.
- Providing expert guidance and support to clients throughout the assessment journey, ensuring they feel understood and valued.
- Staying current with ADHD research and best practices, integrating this knowledge into your assessments and client interactions.
Your expertise will not only enhance the quality of care we provide but also contribute to building a welcoming and effective environment for clients seeking support.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Relevant clinical qualification (e.g., Psychology, Psychiatry, Nursing) with experience in ADHD assessment.
- Strong understanding of ADHD and associated mental health issues, alongside relevant diagnostic tools and methodologies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and provide empathetic support.
- A collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
- Proven ability to manage and prioritise multiple assessments efficiently within a remote working environment.
- Strong report writing skills with a keen eye for detail, ensuring accurate and comprehensive documentation.
- A proactive and adaptable mindset, ready to embrace the evolving nature of the service.
Additional Information
- The role will require you to be able to work in a quiet, well lit space with good internet access allowing you to conduct confidential 1:1 appointments and assessments in a professional manner.
- Full training around assessment provided.
- Compensation: £67.50 per clinic held (estimated 60-90 minutes)
- Location: Remote (hours of work are flexible within the UK time zone)
- You will need to be able to work as a contractor under your own Limited company which we can support you to set up.
- We will provide you with a laptop.
