Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in guiding the development of our products, ensuring that they meet the needs of our customers and align with our business objectives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software development, quality assurance, and marketing, to deliver high-quality solutions that enhance user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap to stakeholders.
  • Prioritise product backlog items based on business value and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with development teams using Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Waterfall to ensure timely delivery of features.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate product functionality and performance.
  • Create detailed test cases and acceptance criteria for new features.
  • Engage with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor project progress using tools such as Jira, ensuring transparency and accountability within the team.
  • Maintain an understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to effectively manage product releases.
  • Stay informed about industry trends in cloud computing and software development to inform product strategy.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in software development.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Waterfall.
  • Proficiency in using project management tools like Jira for tracking progress and managing backlogs.
  • Familiarity with SQL for data analysis and reporting purposes.
  • Experience in creating test cases and conducting user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Knowledge of cloud computing technologies is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, enabling informed decision-making based on data-driven insights.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £42,000.00-£52,000.00 per year

Additional pay:
