Vacancy : DevOps Engineer

About the Company :

Our client is a successful UK software company who are in solid growth mode. Their highly regarded product is valued by an impressive list of enterprise customers both locally and overseas. Currently, they are looking for an additional DevOps Engineer to work closely with one of their Development Squads to help guide them in DevOps best practice.

About the Role :

• Provision and administer the AWS infrastructure
• Identify improvements to DevOps architecture and implement those improvements accordingly
• Own the DevOps environment, and guide the development team through best practice
• Writing Infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI
• Release engineering
• Enhancing Security

Your Skills & Experience:

• 3 years AWS
• Solid experience with Linux System Administration
• Strong knowledge of contemporary DevOps tools and processes
• Excellent understanding of software development, including Git source control, scripting (e.g. Python, Shell, Ruby)
• Solid experience Docker and Kubernetes
• GitLab CI
• Terraform

What 's on Offer:

A competitive salary in the region of £60,000 - £70,000 base along with a comprehensive benefits package. Whilst this role can be based in central Nottingham candidates who can perform the role remotely in the UK are welcome to apply.
