What we’re looking for

We are looking for an enthusiastic Chef to join the team to serve fantastic food for our hotel guests. Are you looking for your next step in catering and leisure? Do you want to work at a high-profile attraction where you can build a career?

What we need from you!

You will have previous experience in catering as a line chef, breakfast chef, section chef or chef de partie in a hotel, restaurant, gastro pub or the wider hospitality sector. As our Chef de Partie you’ll be working across all areas of the kitchen and bringing fresh eyes and new ideas to contribute to menu development and improving our food offering.

Main duties of the post

If you join our team you’ll require:

• To follow the company specifications for menu plans and daily preparations.
• To ensure that all dishes leaving the kitchen/buffet are prepared to the approved standard of presentation and in a timely fashion.
• To know and understand the requirements of the menus and to plan accordingly for operational needs.
• To avoid unnecessary wastage, to observe proper portion planning and control and to act in a cost effective, responsible manner.
• To ensure excellent food hygiene practice is observed in the entire food chain from storage through to preparation and service.
• To ensure HACCP compliance within the kitchen and all Food & Beverage outlets.
• To work in accordance with any agreed deadlines and to assist and encourage others in achieving this aim.
• To be personally responsible for hygiene, safety and correct use of equipment and utensils.
• To play an integral part in ensuring a safe and secure environment for team members in compliance with company policies and procedures, all H&S legislative requirements and other statutory regulations.
• To ensure effective communication between staff by maintaining a secure and friendly working environment.

Pay: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
