We’re looking for a writer and editor to help us scale our content efforts across audiences and surfaces. In this role, you will create high quality content while supporting our content strategy team, combining hands-on writing with editorial oversight to ensure consistency across editorial surfaces. This role will report into the Content Strategy Manager and sit on the Story Studio team.

What you’ll do at Figma:

• Pitch, write, and edit compelling content across formats and channels

• Provide editorial support to content strategists, from messaging hierarchies to copyediting

• Adapt key messages to different audiences across designers, developers, product managers, and beyond

• Partner with subject matter experts to develop engaging content for product launches and key marketing moments

• 3+ years of experience in content writing and editing, preferably in either journalism or tech

• Familiarity with editorial processes

• Proven ability to distill technical concepts

• Strong project management and organizational skills, and comfort with working on deadlines

While not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:

• Experience working in marketing at a high-growth tech company
• Familiarity with marketing technical products

Pay Transparency Disclosure

If based in Figma’s San Francisco or New York hub offices, this role has the annual base salary range stated below.

Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location. The listed range is a guideline, and the range for this role may be modified. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, the pay range is localized according to employee work location by a factor of between 80% and 100% of range. Annual Base Salary Range (SF/NY Hub):

$122,000–$178,000 USD
