Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food production and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
  • Assist in managing kitchen inventory, including ordering and restocking supplies as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and excellent service delivery.
  • Supervise junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support during food preparation and cooking processes.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring all food is handled safely and hygienically.
  • Participate in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating leadership qualities when supervising others.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
  • A genuine passion for cooking and helping others enjoy exceptional dining experiences.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £15.00-£17.00 per hour
