Job Title : UX/UI Designer

Location : Gateshead or Manchester. Hybrid home & office working (2 days a week) is in place.

Reporting to : CTO

About the job:

We’re looking for a talented UX/UI designer to be responsible for overseeing the user experience design for all aspects of client websites and apps. Collaborating with the brand and digital teams to develop cohesive digital solutions and engaging experiences for our clients and their users.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead on accessible UX led strategy for design of digital products, websites and applications

• Gathering and evaluation of audience research

• Creation of customer/audience personas

• Ability to clearly define and map user needs and journey

• Develop information architecture and manage the content planning process

• Creation of annotated wireframes, user interaction design and interactive prototypes

• Conduct usability testing

• Implement A/B & multi-variant testing

You will:

• Be an outstanding communicator & relationship builder

• Have a meticulous eye for detail

• Demonstrate excellent commercial awareness

• Rationalise design approaches using simple language

• Deliver insight-led evaluation and evidence-based critique

• Lead on new trends and techniques to enhance our service offer

• Understand the role of front-end build and core functionality in delivering the design solution
