Quality Engineer

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, testing, and improving the quality of our products and manufacturing processes, ensuring they meet the highest technical standards and regulatory requirements.

Main Duties:

• Monitor the entire production process and perform regular tests to identify potential problems and malfunctions
• Inspect raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Develop and implement quality control systems and standard operating procedures
• Perform audits based on ISO 9001 requirements
• Identify root causes of technical issues and recommend corrective actions
• Create comprehensive documentation on quality performance, anomalies, and improvements
• Collaborate with operations managers to develop process improvements
• Analyse manufacturing data and work toward continuous improvement

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• Demonstrable experience in quality control or quality assurance
• Knowledge of quality management systems and ISO standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in QA software tools
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Work Arrangement:

This position is based at our Peterborough site, with the possibility of occasional travel to supplier or customer locations as needed.
