Mechanical Project Manager

The Role and Company

Priding ourselves on a wide range of Mechanical installation Including Plumbing, Gas, Ventilation and Air Conditioning). As a company we cover all aspects from design to build of mechanical items predominately within the Commercial leisure Industry (such but not limited to Restaurants / Bars, pubs, and Hotels), from refurbishments to new buildings. We pride ourselves on repeat business, client relationships and quality of work due to our care and attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile.

Due to further growth, we have an opportunity for a suitable candidate to join our busy and successful team. The Role is office based with sites and visits expected for nationwide contracts. We are looking for someone with a proactive and enthusiastic mindset, with the ability to organise, plan and prioritise workload while liaising with the team effectively.

Job Duties

• Manage multiple projects throughout from prestart, weekly progress and handover meetings.
• Ensure good communication is met, Liaising with engineers / site managers.
• Liaise with professional bodies and managing operatives to ensure deadlines and budget.
• Organise and Monitor job resources, from labour to materials and plant.
• Effectively record and monitor but not limited to daily diary, site progress including photographs, meeting minutes / notes.

Required skills, training and experience

• Minimum of NVQ level 3 / City and Guilds (or equivalent) in relevant trade.
• Previous experience manging projects desirable but not required. .
• Communication skills verbally and literately.
• Literate and numerate with good IT Skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to understand and work to / design Drawings.
• CSCS card and Asbestos training desirable but not required.

Pay: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
