About the role
Our Chief Commercial officer is looking for a KSA Growth Manager to join the team and spearhead Avado’s growth initiatives in Saudi Arabia, helping us expand our market share and strengthen our presence. Based in London, you will travel frequently to the Middle East, engaging with stakeholders, customers, and partners to drive business growth. This multifaceted role requires a highly motivated, entrepreneurial individual with a deep understanding of international business and a passion for Saudi Arabia’s thriving market.
What you’ll do
Strategic Market Growth
- Develop and execute growth initiatives to increase Avado’s market share in KSA.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders in the UK and KSA to align strategies and drive regional success.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including partnerships and channel strategies.
Customer and Partner Engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with existing customers, ensuring their ongoing engagement with Avado’s offerings.
- Engage with potential commercial partners, including job boards, English schools, and other relevant organizations, to create scalable lead-generation opportunities.
Events and Marketing Initiatives
- Represent Avado at key industry events in KSA, driving brand visibility and generating high-quality leads.
- Plan and host Avado events in Saudi Arabia, creating impactful networking and learning experiences.
- Collaborate with the UK marketing team to develop localized campaigns tailored to the KSA market.
Product and Market Insight
- Gather market intelligence to inform product development and localization efforts.
- Provide insights on Saudi-specific trends, customer needs, and opportunities for growth.
Operational Leadership
- Act as the primary point of contact for all KSA-related initiatives, coordinating efforts across teams and stakeholders.
- Deliver measurable results across various growth initiatives, ensuring alignment with Avado’s commercial goals.
What we’re looking for
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in international business or a related field, with a strong focus on the Middle East and Saudi Arabia.
Skills and Competencies
- Arabic Fluency : Due to the nature of this role, which involves direct communication with Arabic-speaking learners, partners, and stakeholders, fluency in Arabic is desirable.
- Cultural Insight : Strong understanding of Saudi business culture and market dynamics.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit : Highly ambitious self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying and executing growth opportunities.
- Communication Skills : Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
- Travel Readiness : Willing and confident traveling overseas for business, with frequent trips to the Middle East.
- Multifaceted Skill Set : Capable of managing multiple initiatives, from customer engagement to product insight and marketing strategy.
- Strategic Thinking : Strong analytical skills to assess market trends, identify opportunities, and execute actionable plans.
