We are seeking a Lead Integration Developer with a strong track record of leading integration projects and collaborating across a diverse array of business functions. As the Lead Integration Developer, you will wear multiple hats and will be responsible for managing teams, driving product ownership, handling application support and development, among other crucial roles. This role requires extensive interaction with multiple departments, including Sales & Marketing, Finance, and IT leadership. The successful candidate will possess deep technical expertise, combined with excellent communication skills and a proven ability to manage both people and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- People Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of developers and analysts, fostering a culture of growth, productivity, and collaboration. Oversee tasks, ensure timely delivery, and maintain high-quality standards.
- Integration Product Ownership: Define and drive the vision for integration solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs and technical feasibility. Manage the full product life cycle from inception to retirement while maintaining quality and performance standards.
- Application Development, Support, & Analysis: Oversee the efficient development, support, and continuous improvement of applications to enhance functionality and user experience.
- Application Design: Collaborate with Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, and Software Delivery Managers to design scalable, robust, and efficient applications that meet business requirements.
- Financial Management: Manage purchase orders for contractors and oversee the invoice receipting process, ensuring financial operations run smoothly.
- Implementation & Documentation: Document application and integration designs, workflows, and standard operating procedures. Ensure seamless solution implementation with minimal disruptions while maintaining comprehensive documentation for future reference and compliance.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Sales & Marketing, Finance, and IT leaders to understand business needs, foster collaboration, and ensure technology solutions align with strategic objectives.
- Process & Workflow Management: Adhere to Agile and DevOps methodologies, contribute to Change Advisory Boards (CAB), support impact and technology assessments, and assist with testing and product improvement efforts.
- Cross-Functional Planning: Work closely with other IT teams to ensure alignment, coordination, and execution of company-wide initiatives.
- Code Reviews and Refactoring: Ensure code quality through regular reviews, refactoring efforts, and adherence to best practices to maintain clean, scalable, and efficient codebases.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviours:
- Expertise in MS Azure: Strong experience with MS Azure cloud services, including SQL, App Services, Logic Apps, Functions, Active Directory roles/groups, Key Vaults, and Managed Identities.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proven expertise in Terraform for automating cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.
- Integration Development & API Management: Extensive experience with .NET Framework, .NET Core, C, ASP.NET, Web APIs, and Salesforce APEX, with a deep understanding of API integrations across CRM and ERP systems like Salesforce, Pardot, ADvendio, and Workday.
- Database Management & Optimisation: Proficiency in Azure SQL, DBAmp, Azure Data Studio, and MS Management Studio, with the ability to optimise and manage large-scale databases.
- Collaboration & Agile Methodologies: Strong experience working with JIRA, Confluence, and MS Teams to support Agile development, documentation, and cross-functional team collaboration.
- Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Ability to troubleshoot complex integration challenges, proactively identify risks, and implement efficient, scalable solutions.
- Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including senior executives.
- Strategic Planning & Project Management: Ability to manage multiple integration projects, align technology solutions with business objectives, and ensure long-term scalability and security of integration frameworks.
- Proactive Leadership & Continuous Improvement: A forward-thinking mindset with a commitment to staying updated on emerging integration technologies, driving innovation, and mentoring junior engineers to foster a culture of technical excellence.
