Role: Learning and Development Manager
Location: London (hybrid)
The Learning and Development Manager is responsible for owning the skill development for People across the group. This will range from leading the performance review approach for the company, through to delivering management development and ensuring employees complete our mandatory training. This role requires a confident facilitator of learning who can enhance employee performance and growth within QA.
About the role:
- End to end skill, knowledge and development coaching and support of our managers and employees working in partnership with People Partners and the leadership team
Performance Review Approach - - Collaborate with the People Partners and leadership team to shape and embed a clear group Performance Review approach using a continuous feedback loop and enabling career development in a future focused agile way.
- Facilitate and design - A key part of this role will be delivering sessions and workshops including equipping our managers with ongoing tools for leading and managing our people the QA way.
- Design and lead training sessions and workshops to engage and encourage participation with the audience at the heart of how you deliver.
- Deliver with confidence both in-person and virtually using MS Teams, to diverse audiences.
- Actively measure feedback and evaluate ways to continually improve learning outcomes for our employees to enhance both their own career development and the business growth.
- Mandatory Training - Ensure all mandatory training is completed to comply with Ofsted and Iso requirements.
- Learning Needs Analysis - Build strong relationships with the People leads and team leads to identify specific capability gaps/needs and how to address these.
About you:
- Proven experience in L&D or corporate training
- Proficiency in designing training programs, workshops and development courses
- Experience in assessing training needs and measuring the effectiveness of learning interventions
- An understanding of how to drive learning initiatives during organisational change
- Knowledge of learning theories and methodologies
- Familiarity with sector-specific training needs, compliance requirements and best practices
- Ability to inspire and encourage individuals to achieve their full potential
