Registered Manager – Children’s Residential - NEW HOME

Location: Leicestershire
Salary: £45,000 OTE £54,450
Bonuses: £5,000 Welcome Bonus

Performance Bonus : Up to 21% of your annual salary
Annual Leave : 32 days (including Bank Holidays)

Keys Group is seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to take the reins of a new children’s residential home set to open in August. This is a unique opportunity to design and set up a brand new three bed children’s home.

In this role, you’ll be supported by a dedicated team of specialists across HR, Recruitment, Referrals, Marketing, Maintenance, Finance, Clinical, Legal, Commercial, Learning and Development, and IT. Together, you’ll collaborate to achieve and sustain excellence in Ofsted standards

You will also benefit from the support and guidance of our network of 19 other Children’s Homes in the region, alongside a proactive Regional Manager with years of experience. Additionally, the Residential Director has an active involvement in the region and will be on hand to provide further expertise and support, ensuring you have access to a wealth of knowledge and resources.

You’re Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding care, ensuring children achieve positive outcomes.
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the home, including service development and strategic planning.
  • Lead and mentor your team, fostering a therapeutic and supportive environment.
  • Manage budgets and financial performance effectively.
  • Ensure safeguarding and compliance with all relevant legislation, including The Children Act 1989 and Children’s Home Regulations.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to provide tailored care for each child.

What we’re looking for:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar environment
  • |\\\\ Qualifications:
  • Level 4 in Children and Young People’s Workforce.
  • Working towards or completed Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services (Children and Young People).
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding and children’s legislation.
  • A proactive, enthusiastic leader with a hands-on approach.
  • Experience in managing budgets and financial planning.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Flexibility to work on-call when required.
