As a strong CDP you will be responsible for supporting our head chef & sous chef with the running of our kitchen.
The Restaurant/pub is a free house with the Owner being a very accomplished Chef having gained 3 rosettes previous, the Chef proprietor is part of the Master Chefs of Great Britain and believes in training the next generation of chefs,
For the right candidate there is room to grow and one day become head chef as we believe in promoting internally if possible.
We are looking for someone organised, who is able to work on their own initiative, work well under pressure and be a solid team player.
Our menu is based around fine dining as well as a more bar food menu, everything is made in house making the best of fresh, seasonal ingredients.
We have a 6 weekly changing menu and would expect the chef de partie to be involved in helping create new dishes.
This is a challenging yet exciting position for someone who is keen to learn from our head and sous chef.
You need to be able to produce & present dishes to meet the required standard.
To assist with managing & maintaining stock & storage.
To ensure work areas are kept clean & tidy at all times.
Ensuring Health & Safety standards are adhered to.
Salary to be discussed depending on experience.
You get a share of tips, 28 days holiday, flexible working hours, food on shift, 2 and half clear days off.
Due to location own transport is essential and no live in is available.
