Training Manager - Technology CSC - Counter Terrorism Policing HQ
The starting salary is £60,893, which includes allowances totalling £2,928.
The salary is broken down as £57,965 basic salary, which will increase annually until you reach the top of the scale £63,230. Plus, a location allowance of £1,928 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000.

Are you an IT professional with training expertise? Join us as a Training Manager and deliver bespoke training across a range of technologies that are unique to Counter Terrorism Policing (CTP).
As our Training Manager, your task will be to manage training for over 70 first- and second-line staff in our Customer Service Centre (CSC). Working independently or in collaboration with technical experts, you’ll develop bespoke technical training in line with the changing needs and the growth of national services.
It’s a chance to manage a Birmingham-based training team and also oversee the overall learning and development requirements of CSC colleagues. Working in a highly inclusive culture, you’ll draw on your excellent leadership and management skills to inspire our people.
You’ll have a current, valid, recognised teaching or training qualification (such as a Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training or Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training). It’s important that you can deliver technical and/or non-technical training courses and programmes, both in person and remotely.
We’ll also expect you to work on multiple projects and deliver blended and inclusive learning to various end-user groups. So, you’ll need impressive facilitation, training delivery and presentation skills, as well as the ability to flex with shifting priorities.
In addition to a training skillset, you’ll need strong communication skills. It’s crucial that you can manage people and work with your team to meet all deadlines.
Please note that this role is subject to security vetting.

This post requires access to the most sensitive intelligence material on a daily basis. Applicants must hold or be prepared to undergo National Security Vetting (NSV) Security Check (enhanced) (SC(e)) level before taking up the post.
