The Role
As an Executive Search Consultant in one of our core markets, you will be responsible for building and developing relationships with new clients, while placing top-tier candidates in key positions.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs, culture, and strategic goals. As many of our clients are based internationally (in the US, Europe, etc.), there may be opportunities for overseas travel.
• Presenting candidate shortlists and providing consultative feedback during the interview process.
• Proactively identifying and sourcing top-level executive candidates using various methods.
• Conducting thorough market research and mapping to identify potential candidates within specific industries or roles.
• Developing and executing tailored executive search strategies that meet the unique needs of each client and their sector.
• Negotiating terms and contracts with prospective clients, whose annual revenues can exceed $5 billion.
• Interviewing and closely working with C-suite and executive-level candidates to help them secure their next long-term position.
• Building and maintaining cutting-edge databases to strengthen Imperium Global’s position as a market leader in your specialist sector.
• Keeping informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and talent movement in the sectors you serve.

Career Progression
At Imperium Global, we operate a 100% organic growth model. All of our managers started their careers as Executive Search Consultants, as we don’t hire externally for managerial roles. Many of our consultants progress to management within 12 to 18 months.

This approach has created a clear career progression pathway, from entry-level through to Managing Director. High-performing individuals can achieve this within five years.

Internal Training Academy
Imperium Global runs a bespoke internal training academy, led by our Learning and Development team, who have a combined 60 years of recruitment experience.

After five weeks of training, new consultants will be equipped to operate as 360-degree consultants, capable of establishing new client relationships in their market and placing multiple candidates straight away.

Once the initial training programme is completed, we continue to offer weekly internal training sessions to ensure everyone in the business continues to learn and grow.
