Get to know the role:
You’ll spend 80% of your time gaining real hands-on experience in the role and 20% dedicated to your Apprenticeship studies. You’ll likely study towards your Level 4 Data Analyst qualification, which typically takes between 18-24 months to complete. There are a number of different roles in our data teams. During the assessment and selection process we’ll assess where your strengths lie and, should you join us, we’ll offer you the role we feel best aligns to these within this pathway which you can learn more about below.
Pricing
You’ll learn how to use data to calculate prices for our customers and business. Using sophisticated technology, you’ll analyse product data to let us know how products are performing and where there are opportunities to improve.
Insights Analyst
You’ll learn how to identify trends and spot opportunities that will help make our insurance business even better. Whether it’s changes to our products or improvements to the experience we provide for customers, your insights can make a real impact.
Data Science & Analytics
Working with our analytics teams who are helping to shape the future of insurance, you will tackle business problems, research, design and build data models, present solutions to internal teams and assist with the development of our in-house applications using Python F and r.

What we’re looking for
To join us on this apprenticeship, you’ll need (or be on track to achieve) at least three A-Levels at grades B, C, C or above (in England) or four Highers at grades B - C or above. Or have an equivalent Level 3 qualification.
You will also need at least five GCSEs or Scottish National 5s at grades A*-C (9-4) or have equivalent qualifications. These must include English and Maths.
For some of our data roles, previous coding knowledge would be beneficial, but this is not a prerequisite for all. We are typically looking for people who are passionate about data and technology, who possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and are driven to make positive changes.
And you’ll:
- have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for at least 3 years by the start of the apprenticeship in September 2025.
- be eligible to work full-time in the UK for the entire duration of the apprenticeship.
- be available for full time work from September 2025 when all our apprentice roles start.

Where could you be based?
Our Data roles are available in Norwich. The likelihood is you’ll balance time in the office with working from home. We call this Smart Working. Typically, it’s three days in the office and two days from home but this can vary between teams. When you join us, your leader will discuss this with you, and agree what works best for you, your team, and the business. Even with our Smart Working approach, it’s important to note that you’ll still need to live within commuting distance of the relevant office. That way you’ll get to spend time with your team in person, as well as virtually, and have access to the right internal support networks to help you to succeed.

Step two : You’ll complete online situational strengths and numerical reasoning tests
Step three : You’ll take part in a video interview
Step four: You’ll join our virtual assessment day where you’ll get to show us what you’re good at and what you enjoy through a variety of exercises.
If you’re successful, we’ll offer you an apprenticeship starting in September 2025.
