This role aims to support the sales and operations team by creating technical solutions and support designed to encourage monitored technology and integrated security offerings across all accounts to ensure customers get the best security solutions we can provide to customers. Alongside this, you will also be reviewing issues and ensuring that systems are performing and that any issues are flagged for review.
Key Responsibilities:
Design:
Support clients by specifying integrated solutions from the outset with a consistent approach to designing and application. Assisting the sales team, where possible, to sell complete solutions offering security through various means including but not limited to perimeter protection, physical intervention and monitored technology. Consistently approaching all new surveys with the aim of providing the best possible security solution for the needs of each client and on change of use offering suggestions for repeat and one-off revenue streams.
Commission:
Ensuring timely and accurate commission of monitored technology on a 24/7 365 basis including working with Field and Central Operations teams to ensure robust processes are in place and followed.
Quality Control:
Monitoring the overall quality of all installations and that all installed systems are fit for purpose. Reporting and providing feedback to Field Operations Managers/Support teams for any and all issues that may occur. Working with our client base and internal teams to provide troubleshooting for problems with our solutions.
Maintenance:
Utilising a data lead approach supports field-based teams and equipment to flag any potential issues or systems that have passed maintenance deadlines. Monitor usage of Methanol, Hydrogen, and battery systems to ensure they are viable and where needed have been serviced correctly. Support management of deployed technology and, where needed, redeploy systems to allow for repair work on other systems.
Review & Renew:
Reviewing system activations and working with internal stakeholders to make recommendations to enhance security or reduce false activations, i.e. animals setting off detectors and camera systems. Working closely with Sales teams both internal and external to promote the use of integrated solutions wherever possible.
Build processes and systems that make selling and delivering integrated security solutions more efficient, maximise revenue potential and deliver results clients expect. Proactively reviewing delivered solutions to ensure that these remain fit for purpose, especially if site conditions or risk profile for the site or property change.
Key Qualifications:
- Detailed knowledge of monitored technology products
- Detailed knowledge of integrated security solutions
- Troubleshooting capability – on site and remotely
- Commercial awareness
- Understanding of wider monitored technology market and competitors
- Detailed knowledge of solutions selling
Desirable:
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of CAD
- Knowledge of internal systems and processes
- Awareness of project methodologies
- Awareness of change management strategies
