Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and driven Fundraising Manager to lead our fundraising initiatives and cultivate relationships with donors and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, exceptional relationship management abilities, and a solid understanding of public relations. This role is pivotal in developing strategies to enhance our fundraising efforts and ensure the sustainability of our organisation.
Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies and events to meet organisational goals.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing donors while identifying potential new funding sources.
- Manage all aspects of fundraising campaigns, including planning, execution, and evaluation.
- Utilise Raiser’s Edge software to track donations, manage donor information, and generate reports.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials that effectively communicate our mission and impact.
- Organise fundraising events and initiatives that engage the community and promote awareness of our cause.
- Provide excellent customer service to donors, responding promptly to inquiries and ensuring a positive experience.
- Monitor market trends in fundraising and public relations to adapt strategies accordingly.
Experience
- Proven experience in fundraising or a related field is essential.
- Strong skills in customer service, relationship management, and public relations are required.
- Demonstrated ability to develop effective marketing strategies for fundraising purposes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- A proactive approach with strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Who are we?
We are Lantern of Knowledge, an established and local charity organisation dedicated to educating and serving humanity. Our projects include local relief efforts, an independent Muslim boys’ secondary school, Hifz, Alimiyyah, maktab and short term islamic courses.
Our graduates go on to become imaams, teachers and key members in serving their local communities in varying capacities.
Our relief department worked to provide 8000 meals to fasting individuals in Ramadhan.
