Domex are seeking a qualified Gas Engineer to cover Reading and the immediately surrounding area. The role is full time and will join our Kitchen Appliance Repair team on a permanent / PAYE or self employed basis. The role is focused on the repair of gas and dual-fuel cooking appliances. We are specifically seeking candidates who hold CCN1 and CKR1 qualifications. If you have a solid technical foundation, we are open to providing comprehensive training to help you develop into an expert Gas Cooking Appliance Engineer.

What will your responsibilities be in this role?
- Performing diagnostic and servicing repairs on kitchen appliances in customers’ homes, specifically cooking appliances (gas, electric, and dual-fuel).
- Visiting customers across RG and immediately surrounding postcodes, zoned on a daily basis.
- Managing your day using a user-friendly mobile app, including parts in-take, returns, technical information, and job completion.
- Maintaining communication with both customers and the office, providing updates on ongoing repairs, and addressing issues.
What skills and experience do you need?
- CCN1 and CKR1 Qualified.
- Possess a foundation level understanding of electrical principles.
- Experience in a hands-on trade, e.g. Service Engineer, Electrician, Technician, Maintenance Engineer, and Handyman.
- Possession of a valid manual car driving licence and comfort with daily driving.
- A customer-centric approach focusing on delivering excellent service and meeting customer needs.

Please note that you should be based in the RG postcode, or surrounding area for this role. However, we do have requirements for Gas certified engineers across London and the Midlands.
