Learning Support Assistant

Salary: £13.23 - £14.92 per hour

Hours: School hours (Typical hours are 8:30am – 3:30pm Monday to Friday)

Location: Gosport / Fareham

staff to join their team on a long/short term/day to day and permanent basis.

Responsibilities

You may be supporting students who have specific education needs on a 1:1 basis or helping with whole class activities or perhaps working independently with small groups

Candidate Specifications:

• Must have a high level of English Comprehension and communication

• MUST have 3 months experience or working in education or with

children/teenagers within the last 2 years

• Must be calm, understanding, confident and friendly

• Care, youth/children’s club or school experience required

• You must be able to engage with children and teenagers

• A desire to help students focus on tasks

• Professional, nurturing and ‘can do’ approach

• Commitment and dependability within the workplace with ability to use

your own initiative

• A good understanding of the classroom environment.
