We are a friendly, family run Fish and Chip shop seeking a confident and energetic person to help our team through the fast paced world of fish and chips. The ideal candidate will have the ability to cover all areas of the shop from serving in the restaurant and take away to frying quality fish and chips during a busy service.

Skills:

• Previous experience in a busy kitchen, restaurant and/or take away
• Great customer service
• Cooking skills or the ability to learn
• Experience in food handling and general cleaning to maintain our 5* hygiene rating
• Great communicator
• Someone who takes pride in what they do
• Calm under pressure

15-30 hours per week. Part time or Full time

Shifts will range from lunchtimes, evenings, at least 1 day over the weekend or the whole weekend. Lunch shifts start at 10:30am and finish at 2.30pm during the week and outside of school holidays. On weekends and during the holidays we stay open all day so the lunch shift finishes at 4pm. Evening shifts start at 4pm and we close at 8pm. Expect to be out by 8:30pm.

The shop’s extended hours during school holidays provide more opportunities for extra hours if needed.

As a Server/Fryer, you will be essential in delivering outstanding hospitality and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests. Reporting to the manager, your role will involve serving, cooking and some food preparation, while adhering to food safety standards. Your core skills in serving and customer service, combined with relevant experience in restaurants and food handling, will enable you to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
