Accounts and Office Manager
Full Time - Barrhead
Mellex Group Limited is a family run company trading for over 20 years, in August 2021 the company acquired Leggat Plant Limited, Bridgend Hire Limited, and Bridgend Training Limited.
Due to continuing growth, we require a full-time accounts and office manager to carry out general day to day office duties.
Role:
-
Maintaining Account Receivable Ledger.

Management of Accounts Receivable including receipts, credit control, and liaising
with other departments for any unconfirmed invoices etc.

Dealing with customer invoicing queries by phone or email, sending copy invoices when requested.

Sending monthly customer statements.

Import of data for sales invoicing daily.

Enter all nominal/cashbook transactions.

Assisting with bank reconciliation.

Reconciliation of cash payments.

Holiday cover for payroll processing.

Provide general administration support throughout the company.

Any other ad hoc duties.
Experience, skills, and qualifications:

3 years experience in a similar role.

Knowledge of Sage 200 and Syrinx would be an advantage but not compulsory (full training will be given).

Must be polite, and act in a professional manner.

Confident and effective communicator, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.

Must be able to prioritise workload and ability to work independently whilst being an excellent team player.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £38,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
