Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contracts Director to lead our organisation in optimising our supply chain and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in supply chain management, Management of projects from start to finish, with expertise in negotiating contracts and implementing effective systems. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless flow of goods and services, enhancing operational efficiency, and driving strategic initiatives within the company.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
• Oversee site and project managers on multiple sites at one time.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and logistics partners to secure favourable terms.
• Oversee the management of logistics operations, ensuring timely delivery of products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain strategies with business objectives.
• Analyse data to identify trends and areas for improvement within the supply chain.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards related to logistics and supply chain management.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team to achieve departmental goals.

Skills

• Proven experience in supply chain management and logistics.
• Proven experience in roofing or cladding would be preferable.
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing advantageous contracts.
• Proficiency in using systems such as Oracle EBS and SAP for supply chain operations.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Strong leadership qualities with experience in team development and management.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £70,000.00-£75,000.00 per year
