SportsPro is a leading sports merchandise retailer dedicated to providing high-quality products to our customers. As part of our expansion, we are introducing the Hummel product line and seeking a talented and proactive Marketing Executive to join our team. This role involves close collaboration with the Marketing Manager and Marketing Director, with a focus on supporting the Marketing Manager in delivering impactful digital marketing initiatives.

Job Summary
The Marketing Executive will play a key role in executing digital marketing strategies, with an emphasis on eCommerce platforms–particularly Shopify. The ideal candidate will have experience in SEO/PPC alongside a proven track record in managing online campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

PPC:

  • Plan, create and execute ROI-focused performance advertising campaigns.
  • Manage paid campaigns across a range of advertising platforms that include Google search/display/discovery, Bing and popular social platforms.
  • Create and build data-driven audience targeting strategies.
  • Direct and drive conversion rate optimisation strategies.
  • Track daily, weekly, and monthly campaign performance and reporting.

SEO:

  • Implement SEO tactics across our range of websites
  • Drive data-driven strategies, analysing key performance indicators to make informed decisions
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and sales team to refine processes and introduce innovative approaches
  • Showcase technical SEO expertise, performing audits and providing strategic recommendations
  • Work closely with the rest of the marketing to ideate organic campaigns aligned with SEO best practices and be able to optimise content confidently

Preferred Skills

  • Keyword Research & Strategy: Identify and analyse relevant search terms to target in content, product pages, and metadata.
  • On-Page Optimisation: Update and tweak page titles, meta descriptions, headers, and internal linking to improve rankings.
  • Technical SEO Audits: Use tools like Screaming Frog, SEMrush, and Google Search Console to fix crawl errors, site speed issues, and indexing problems.
  • Content Optimisation: Work with the wider marketing team to ensure blog posts, product descriptions, and landing pages are SEO-friendly.
  • Backlink Building: Outreach to relevant sites for guest posts, partnerships, and high-quality link opportunities.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track rankings, traffic, and conversions using Google Analytics, GA4, and SEMrush.
  • Competitor Analysis: Keep an eye on what rival brands are doing and find opportunities to outrank them.
  • SEO Reporting: Analyse data and provide insights on what’s working, what’s not, and what needs tweaking.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
