We are seeking a dynamic and well-rounded L&D professional to drive the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of our learning offering.

As a global leader in innovation and technology consulting, we strive to continuously develop our people. You’ll work closely with leaders and teams to design and deliver cutting-edge learning programmes that encourage professional growth, enhance skills, and build leadership capabilities across a wide range of disciplines.

The role

You’ll join a team of 3 other L&D professionals, within a wider HR department of 15, to help manage and develop the employee lifecycle at Cambridge Consultants.

You’ll partner with our employee network groups to drive ED&I initiatives forward through tailored learning experiences, bringing your passion for inclusion and development to create meaningful, impactful solutions.

Working closely with various stakeholders, you’ll create engaging learning content that promotes high learner engagement and aligns with organisational goals. You’ll also play a key role in the development of our apprenticeship programmes, ensuring maximum return on investment from the apprenticeship levy and offering ongoing guidance to apprentices throughout their learning journeys.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will be varied, and we’ve outlined some key duties below. We’re a forward-thinking organisation that values innovation so there’s plenty of room for you to make this role your own.

  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to provide positive learning experiences and drive learner engagement
  • Conduct learning needs analyses and demonstrate the ability to translate organisation context into engaging and relevant learning content
  • Project manage the design and delivery of L&D solutions
  • Deliver instructional design and programme design
  • Drive continuous improvement of CC’s existing learning ecosystem
  • Manage our LMS (LearnUpon), ensuring learning content is up-to-date, accessible and user-friendly
  • Track and report on learning activities to measure outcomes and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Partner with employee network groups and drive ED&I outcomes through learning initiatives
  • Support apprenticeships, delivering maximum ROI from apprenticeship levy and providing a point of contact for apprentices to support their ongoing learning

About you

We’re looking for someone who is truly passionate about organisational learning and development and can bring genuine enthusiasm to the role. In addition, you should have experience or skills within the following areas:

  • Managing an LMS (we use LearnUpon)
  • Delivering manager/leadership training
  • Designing and developing instructional content
  • Creating a wide range of learning materials across different formats
