About The Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Clinical Operations Manager to support the Clinical Operations Director in managing the daily operations of neurodevelopmental clinical pathways.
The Clinical Operations Manager will oversee multiple clinical teams, ensuring the efficient delivery of services, and will assist in monitoring and reporting on clinical performance.
This position plays a vital role as the second-in-command to the Clinical Operations Director, ensuring smooth operations and the continued high standard of care.
This is a hybrid role based in Gloucestershire, with some in-office work required at our Cheltenham office.
What you’ll do
- Support the Clinical Operations Director in managing and overseeing daily clinical operations related to neurodevelopmental services.
- Supervise multiple teams, ensuring effective communication, coordination, and delivery of high-quality services across clinical pathways.
- Compile and present regular performance data and reports on clinical outcomes to the Board of Directors.
- Oversee neurodevelopmental assessments, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based interventions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new clinical pathways, systems, and initiatives aimed at improving service efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide leadership and management to operational staff within the neurodevelopmental teams, promoting professional development and continuous training.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and industry standards in the delivery of neurodevelopmental services.
- Monitor service performance metrics, troubleshooting and resolving operational issues to maintain consistent service quality.
- Foster collaboration and communication across all internal teams to ensure efficient and effective delivery of neurodevelopmental services.
- Assist in recruiting, training, and managing clinical staff as needed.
- Ensure that operational processes are aligned with the strategic goals of the organization and the quality standards expected by stakeholders.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of service delivery through innovative problem-solving and effective project management.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience in managing neurodevelopmental services or clinical practice, with a focus on operational management.
- Strong understanding of neurodevelopmental assessments, conditions, and service delivery models.
- Experience in a leadership or senior operational role in a clinical setting is highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to report on performance metrics and clinical data to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple teams and projects, ensuring effective coordination and achievement of objectives.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage workflows efficiently.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Psychology, Healthcare Management, Neuroscience, or a related discipline).
- Experience in managing clinical teams and overseeing operational workflows is essential.
- Proficiency with performance reporting and data analysis is desirable.
