Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our team at Idyll. As a Chef de Partie, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality lunch and dinner services, along with baking patisserie. If you enjoy working in small, highly creative teams, with regularly changing menus, please apply.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards, for both Lunch and Dinner menus
- Assist with menu creation.
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Ensure that food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as chef for at least 2+ years, with some baking knowledge preferred.
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods
- Understanding of food safety regulations and practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
