The Role
We are seeking a Security Analyst to join our team and play a crucial role in monitoring, analysing, and responding to security incidents. This role requires a keen analytical mindset, a deep understanding of security threats, and the ability to implement effective security controls.
Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems and detect potential threats.
• Investigate security incidents and provide remediation strategies.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and recommend security improvements.
• Analyse malware, phishing attempts, and other cyber threats.
• Maintain and optimise security tools such as SIEMs, IDS/IPS, and firewalls.
• Provide security reports and risk assessments to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Assist in developing and enforcing security policies and procedures.
• Stay up to date with evolving cyber threats and security technologies.

Requirements

• Experience in security monitoring, incident response, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of security tools, frameworks, and best practices.
• Understanding of threat intelligence, malware analysis, and forensics.
• Familiarity with SIEMs, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint security solutions.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash is a plus.
• Certifications such as Security+, CEH, GCIH, or similar are desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
