Residential Conveyancing Post Completion Clerk / Legal Assistant

An opportunity has arisen for a skilled Post Completion Assistant to join our well-established legal firm.
The main focus of the role will be to effectively manage the post completion processes for our conveyancing department. you will work autonomously in an administrative focussed role providing exceptional levels of customer service.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensuring that all post completions processes are finalised, including:-
- Paying Stamp Duty Land Tax to HMRC within required timeframes.
- Preparing and submitting AP1, FR1, TR1, and other applications to HM Land Registry within priority timeframes.
- Serving Notices to any Landlords.
- Dealing with serving any Notices that may need serving on the Management Company and also obtaining the necessary Certificate of Compliances in order to deal with and comply with any restriction on the title register.
- Handling requisitions efficiently to meet HM Land Registry deadlines.
- Ensure all new home build warranties are submitted and incepted as soon as possible, if applicable.
- Updating various lender online portals.
- Liaising with residential conveyancing teams to ensure that any outstanding queries are fully resolved at the earliest opportunity.
- Verifying all client and office balances, ensuring zero balance upon file closure.
- Closing and archiving files.
- Provide general conveyancing administration and support where necessary.
It is essential that the candidate be able to demonstrate at least 2 years of previous experience and knowledge of working in an Assistant role in a Residential Conveyancing Department and that they have the skills required to undertake this role.
