About the role:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Microsoft Dynamics 365 Developer to join our growing team. As a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Developer, you will be responsible for the development of both our MS Dynamics platform and Kentico-based Tenant Portal. This role may also support some training, deployment, and project administration tasks.

You will work with Business Analysts, Data Analysts, Project Managers, and Business Team SMEs as required.

The role is based in our Northampton office with hybrid working arrangements of 2-3 days in the office and 2 days working from home if required.

Duties include:

• Be the subject matter expert for MS Dynamics.
• Ensure, with the support of your development team peers and Technical Architects, that development work is delivered on time and budget and in line with the technical vision for the project and company best practices.
• Build web pages in both the Kentico and Power Apps platforms.
• Follow established Sage design guidelines.
• Perform peer reviews against the work of others, in line with quality standards.
• Refine and estimate work using standard Agile practices and methodologies.
• Liaise with users to refine requirements and deliver better solutions.
• Strive to improve technical and agile skills, both through on-the-job upskilling and through requesting support/training where necessary.
• Create and maintain sufficient levels of documentation for the solutions produced.

About you

As the successful candidate, you will be highly skilled in the required technologies and delivery focused. You will be passionate, committed, organized, and a fast learner, while at the same time being adaptable, coachable, and open to new approaches to technology solution projects.

Most important:

• Power Platform & Dynamics 365:
• Proficiency in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 customization and configuration.
• Knowledge of Dataverse.
• Azure & DevOps:
• Strong understanding of Azure services (e.g., Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure SQL).
• Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automated testing.
• Kentico CMS:
• Competence in developing and managing portal solutions using Kentico.
• Understanding of Kentico’s API and customization capabilities.
• General Development Skills:
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, SQL, Node.js.
• Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, RESTful APIs, JavaScript, Bootstrap).
• Knowledge of database management (SQL Server, NoSQL databases).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Important:

• Experience with Progressive Web Apps and their offline functionality.
• Experience in the full life cycle of complex software deployment projects.

Agile Methodologies:

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• A working knowledge of source control techniques, specifically using Git.
• Experience with Jira or similar.
• An understanding of the different types of testing, including experience with Unit Testing.

Desirable, but not essential:

• Experience with Power Apps Portals.
