Join us as we expand our impact and grow our company as an Instructional Content Editor. This role is located in the UK and home office based.

The Role

As an Instructional Content Editor, you’ll be instrumental in designing and delivering health education content that drives positive behaviour change. You’ll collaborate with clinical experts, designers, and product teams to create user-friendly and evidence-based materials in various formats, including articles, audio, and video.

Your content will directly impact our users’ experience, supporting them to engage with Oviva’s app, complete courses, and achieve their health goals

  • Write , proofread, and edit health-focused educational content with clear calls to action.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Leads, Pathway Leads, Graphic Designers, and Product Managers to co-create engaging and safe content.
  • Convert clinical insights and learning objectives into well-structured, user-friendly materials.
  • Manage content projects from start to finish, balancing multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Identify user needs from interviews, surveys, and research, and design content that meets those needs using instructional design principles.
  • Brief and manage external collaborators, including designers, uploaders, and freelancers.
  • Contribute to improving Oviva’s content development processes, tools, and methodologies.

About You

  • Proven experience creating evidence-based content on health or behaviour change topics.
  • Exceptional copywriting and editorial skills, with attention to detail and a strong command of English (native-speaker level).
  • Experience using generative AI tools for content production.
  • A solid understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning needs.
  • The ability to research and identify reliable sources for health advice.
  • Strong project management and prioritisation skills, with experience delivering under tight deadlines.
  • Empathy for users’ health challenges and a passion for creating content that meets their needs.
  • A knack for quickly learning new tools and technologies, including AI-powered platforms.
