At Instabook Ltd, we are looking for a talented and forward-thinking Software Engineer / Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be integral in the analysis, design, development, testing and deployment of software solutions. From reviewing and improving existing software to writing custom code and managing database structures, the Software Engineer / Tester will play a crucial role in advancing the functionality and performance of our systems and applications.

Key responsibilities:

• Examine existing software and collaborate with management for improvements on the software.

• Perform regular checks and ensure all company software is working.

• Develop user interfaces that are intuitive and user-friendly.

• Test and correct software programs to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance.

• Identify and address any bugs or issues through systematic debugging processes.

• Write specialized code for various applications.

• Test softwares before being released to the public.

• Analyze test requirements.

• Provide ongoing support and training to users, ensuring they are proficient in utilizing software tools.

• Execute manual test plans and report test results to senior mangement.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Software Engineer or similar role.

• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, etc.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £31,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
