An incredible opportunity has arisen for a passionate Junior Sous Chef to join our talented kitchen team at OPSO, located in the vibrant Marylebone High Street area.

For over 11 years, OPSO has been at the forefront of Modern Greek cuisine, introducing a contemporary culinary approach paired with the renowned warmth of Greek hospitality. As a multi-award-winning restaurant, we are recognized for our innovation, attention to detail, and use of fresh, seasonal, and high-quality ingredients.

We are now looking for a dedicated Junior Sous Chef to join our team. In this role, you’ll work at the highest level, supporting our team through a busy à la carte service. While experience with Greek or Mediterranean cuisine is an advantage, it’s not essential. Above all, we value your passion for learning and growth.

Salary : up to £38.700 per year.

Hours : Approximately 50 hours per week.

Requirements:

-Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.

-Previous experience of at least 5 years as a senior CDP in a high-end hospitality venue.

-Maintain compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, including HACCP standards.

-Communicate effectively with the Head Chef and senior team to assist on the operation.

-Support and supervise production ensuring all food is prepared according to recipes, quality, and presentation standards.

-Oversee inventory, ordering, and cost control to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste.

Eligibility: In line with the requirements of the Asylum & Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must either be eligible to live and work in the UK or must obtain permits to work in the UK prior to application. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process.
