Talent Acquisition Specialist

Location: Bournville - Birmingam

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Duration: March - November

Hours of Work: 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday

2 days in the office and 3 days from home - Hybrid

Pay Rate: £20.35 per hour - PAYE

We are currently recruiting a Talent Acquisition Specialist to be based in Bournville, Birmingham.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent for various positions within the organisation. This position requires a strong understanding recruitment process, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers alike. The Recruiter will utilise various tools and platforms, including social media and applicant tracking systems (ATS), to identify and engage potential candidates.

Duties

• Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
• Manage the full recruitment cycle from job posting to offer acceptance.
• Utilise social media management tools to promote job openings and engage with potential candidates.
• Maintain accurate records in HRIS systems, including Workday.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance on best practices.
• Generate leads for potential candidates through networking and relationship management.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in recruitment or human resources is preferred.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) Workday is advantageous.
• Strong skills in lead generation and relationship management.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with social media management for recruitment purposes.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
