About Us.

The Anchor is a family-run pub with rooms in the beautiful seaside town of Walberswick. We take immense pride in the quality local food we serve as well as our extensive drinks offering. We bake our own bread and pastry, butcher some of our own meats, smoke fish and grow some of the produce on our menu in the allotment behind the pub. Alongside our regular restaurant offering which remains popular all year round we also have a woodfire pizza oven and barbecues that get fired up for special occasions and through the summer. We have a 50-cover restaurant as well as a bar and snug which are both dog friendly and 3 outside terraces, an outside bar and a marquee with seating for 120 covers. Our team are at the heart of our business and we offer a variety of short patterns to suit the right candidate. We are looking to provide an unrivaled food and drink offering paired with a relaxed atmosphere for our customers and staff. Naturally our busiest periods are the weekends and summer which may perfectly suit a student home from university or looking to develop their career alongside A levels. Our location is beautiful but cut off from public transport so the candidates must have their own transport.
