Purpose of the role
We are seeking a Chief Executive Officer – Virtual Services to lead and scale our rapidly growing virtual services business. This individual will oversee the strategic direction, product development, business expansion, and operational execution of a portfolio of remote-delivered business solutions. The CEO will be responsible for driving revenue growth, enhancing customer experience, and expanding market reach by integrating best-in-class technology, optimising operations, and leveraging IWG’s extensive global network.
This role will require strong leadership across product development, business development, operations, sales, and IT, while also working closely with IWG’s service support functions, including marketing, IT, sales, and operations.
Key responsibilities
Develop and execute the strategic vision for Virtual Services, driving growth, profitability, and market leadership.
Oversee end-to-end business operations, ensuring efficiency and excellence in service delivery.
Lead product innovation and expansion, enhancing the value proposition of our virtual service offerings, including call answering, virtual assistants, and AI-powered solutions.
Drive commercial performance, working with sales and marketing teams to accelerate customer acquisition and increase revenue.
Strengthen operational capabilities, improving service quality, technology platforms, and customer experience.
Expand strategic partnerships, identifying M&A; opportunities and collaborations that align with growth objectives.
Collaborate with IWG’s central support teams, ensuring alignment with broader business initiatives and leveraging shared resources effectively.
Required skills, experience & qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
10+ years of leadership experience in a high-growth, service-driven business, ideally within technology-enabled or remote service industries.
Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of scaling businesses and driving profitability.
Experience leading cross-functional teams, including product, operations, sales, and IT.
Deep understanding of digital service models, customer engagement strategies, and operational efficiency.
Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making capabilities.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions and geographies.
