Your new role in cyber will see you join a team of experienced analysts (from various backgrounds) to:
- Establish and maintain customer relationships, using effective communication and interpersonal skills to understand requirements, shape operational analysis support and explain findings.
- Deliver impactful analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.
Provide timely, impartial, evidence-based advice to customers to enable them to make informed decisions representing “best value” and a return on investment.

Person specification
You will have:
- Relevant STEM-based degree or an Operational Research Degree.
- Experience working in cyber.
- Effective communication skills from developing customer requirements to report writing.
- Quality analysis using Operational Research methods including hard and soft analytical techniques.
- Experience of leading small teams on tasks to deliver work at a fast pace.

Selection process details
This vacancy is using Success Profiles , and will assess your Behaviours and Experience.
Sifting will take place week commencing the 10th March 2025 with interviews to be arranged from the 24th March 2025
At the Sift application stage we will be assessing the Personal Statement and CV against the essential criteria stated within the Candidate Information Pack.
The interview will consist of a combined Behavioural and Technical interview.
- At the interview stage we will be asking you to expand on your technical background to ensure appropriate depth against level criteria
- You will be asked to do a 10 minute presentation on ‘describe a time when you have planned, led and delivered an analytical task that used OR techniques to understand and meet customer decision-support requirements.’
