Sweden’s Dellner Group incorporates two major divisions, Dellner Polymer and Glass Solutions based in the UK and the Dellner Bubenzer Group which is an industry-diverse global leader in the design and manufacture of braking systems for the material handling, crane & hoist, container handling, mining, marine, industrial, offshore, oil & gas, and wind energy sectors.

Dellner Polymer & Glass Solutions operates from 5 different sites across the UK providing technologically advanced vibration control, rubber fabrication and bonding solutions for a global market. Additionally, we design, engineer, manufacture, test and supply specialist glass and glazing products for the architectural, global rail, transport, security and museum showcase markets.

We are currently recruiting for Production Operatives, operating and preparing the moulding presses within our Moulding department:

Main duties include:

• Cutting and preparing rubber blanks ready for the mould
• Operation of heated hydraulic power presses
• Identifying scrap and escalating any issues that arise to Supervisor
• Adherence to strict process specifications and quality standards
• Adhere to QHSE and other company policies and procedures
• All Production Operatives are expected to be multiskilled and may required to train and work in other Production areas
• Support the needs of the business by undertaking any task as requested by management provided the task is within your capability and appropriate training is provided

Skills, Experience and Qualifications required

• Ability to read a specification and work to order details with high levels of accuracy (essential)
• Dextrous and attention to detail (essential)
• Experience of working as part of a team (essential)
• Working knowledge of rubber and associated manufacturing processes or similar (desirable)
• Previous experience operating a moulding press (desirable)

Pay: From £12.40 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Day shift
