The Kings Head Stutton is a beautiful 16th century coaching inn

full of caracter with lovely oak beams and an open fire

we have a great bar area that is busy with locals and tourists that has a lovely atmosphere and an amazing outdoor garden and decking area for the warmer months

This is an amazing opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious chef de partie to join our team

We have re launched our Restaurant/menus which are led by our very talented head chef who is looking for the right person to train up to follow in his footsteps

This will be a great chance for someone to advance their career under his guidance

Responsibilities:

• ability to follow instructions to the letter

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area

• Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures

• Adhere to all health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work well on your own and with others.

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to stand for long periods of time in a hot kitchen

Skills:

• Kitchen: Knowledge of kitchen operations and equipment

• Food safety: Understanding of proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices

• Hospitality: Customer service-oriented mindset and ability to provide a positive dining experience for guests

• Restaurant: Familiarity with restaurant operations and service standards

• Culinary: Passion for culinary arts and desire to learn new techniques and recipes

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £20,000.00 per year

Expected hours: No less than 28 per week
