Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Marketing Team Member with extensive experience in Digital Marketing. Experience working with Hotels and Hospitality Marketing is a bonus. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing strategy, account management, campaign execution, and analytics, combined with a proven ability to mentor and lead a small team.

Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing Strategy and Execution

  • Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies tailored to the hospitality and hotel industry.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and optimisation of marketing campaigns across various channels, focused around Paid Search Ads, social media, Email Marketing.
  • Ensure all marketing activities align with client objectives and brand guidelines.

Team Mentoring and Leadership

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior and mid-level marketing team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, promoting professional growth and skill development.
  • Help with the development of new team processes, workflows, templates and new innovative ways to work
  • Host internal marketing team workshops
  • Support Head of Digital with Marketing team reviews
  • Collaborate with team members to find innovative solutions to challenges and problems faced by the company or Marketing department
  • Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in marketing strategy and execution.

Client Management

  • Serve as a key point of contact for high-profile clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Understand client needs and objectives, providing strategic insights and recommendations.
  • Deliver regular performance meetings, reports and analyses, demonstrating the impact of marketing initiatives.
  • Share KPI’s, Goals and Tasks with the client

Performance Analysis and Reporting

  • Utilise data-driven insights to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to enhance campaign performance.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for internal and client review from Google Analytics and Looker Studio.
  • Deliver ad-hoc report requests tailored to the needs of the client

Industry Expertise and Innovation

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in hotel marketing.
  • Bring innovative ideas and solutions to the team, ensuring Up Hotel Agency remains at the forefront of the industry.
  • Participate in industry conferences, webinars, and networking events to enhance professional knowledge and connections.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of Digital Marketing experience, with at least 4 years managing Google Ads Campaigns.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms, including PPC, SEO, social media management, and analytics software.
  • Proven track record of successfully mentoring marketing team members.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, digital marketing strategies, and campaign management.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional communication, account management and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative marketing solutions.
  • A University Degree in Marketing is a bonus but real-life work experience will outweigh the qualifications
