They’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Network Engineering Apprentice to join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone looking to kickstart their career in IT and networking , gain hands-on experience, and develop technical skills while supporting both internal teams and clients.

A Typical Day in the Job:

✅ Hands-On Learning: Gain expertise in SharePoint, Power BI, PowerShell, and PowerApps to develop IT solutions.

✅ Technical Support: Assist in troubleshooting, setting up, and maintaining IT and network equipment (PCs, laptops, mobile devices, and networking hardware).

✅ Client-Site Support: Travel to client sites across Sheffield to install, upgrade, and maintain IT and network systems.

✅ Automation & System Improvement: Help automate tasks and improve internal processes using PowerShell.

✅ Customer Service & Relationship Building: Work closely with clients, providing excellent service and support.

✅ Onboarding & Training Support: Assist in onboarding new employees and provide basic IT training.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:

Full UK Driving License – Required for on-site visits.

Enthusiastic and eager to learn – no prior experience required, just a passion for IT and networking!

Problem-solving mindset – enjoys troubleshooting and finding solutions.

Customer-focused – excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Willingness to travel – comfortable driving to client sites.

Team player who can also work independently when needed.

Grade Required – Maths 4/C, English 4/C

Your Training with Baltic:

You will be enrolled in a Level 4 Network Engineering Apprenticeship, providing you with formal qualifications and practical skills. You’ll also have access to one-to-one mentoring sessions with senior team members and on-the-job training that aligns with your career goals.

Beyond the fundamental apprenticeship modules, you’ll delve into two Be-Spoke modules and one advanced Expert module. This personalised approach will hone your abilities and deepen your expertise, positioning you as a true leader in your field. The Be-Spoke and Expert modules you will complete are:

Bespoke: Work Safety Requirements and Project Management
