Job Purpose:
As a Strategic Vendor Marketing Manager, you will take the lead in driving and owning Vendor & Divisional marketing activities aligned with our Business Unit objectives. Your role involves fostering collaboration between vendors and Business Managers/Vendor Managers to craft innovative marketing campaigns that not only stimulate growth but also ensure the highest Return on Investment (ROI) for our partners.
Key Accountabilities:
Strategic Collaboration:
- Collaborate with Business Managers across regions to formulate and execute marketing strategies that fuel profitable growth.
- Identify, establish, and nurture relationships with brand partners and third-party vendors to capitalize on existing offerings and explore new opportunities.
Demand Generation and Market Expansion:
- Market products and brands within budgetary constraints to maximize profitability.
- Evaluate and adapt strategies to respond to dynamic and competitive markets.
Relationship Building and Negotiation:
- Cultivate key relationships with influencers, negotiating effectively with suppliers to secure Marketing Development Funds (MDF) for assigned brands.
- Manage MDF budgets to optimize ROI.
Internal and External Collaboration:
- Continually collaborate with internal peers and suppliers to define, develop, and execute effective marketing strategies.
- Work closely with local countries to plan and execute marketing plans, providing detailed campaign outcomes and spending reports.
Efficient Operations:
- Define internal and external communication strategies for areas of responsibility.
- Implement and maintain standardized marketing methodologies, tools, and collateral, ensuring a consistent look and feel for communications.
Performance Measurement and Reporting:
- Manage target-based marketing income and profit.
- Utilize your knowledge of ROI reporting to evaluate and showcase the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Experience and good understanding of the marketing space
- Demonstrated expertise in negotiation and effective communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Proven track record in ROI reporting.
- Preferable knowledge of the IT channel.
Additional Experience:
- Hands-on experience and knowledge working with Audiovisual (AV) technology.
- Proven senior stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.
- Languages: English (C2), any other European language (High plus)
