OutThere RPO is seeking a seasoned professional to step into the role of Head of Commercial Finance.

This key position will be responsible for leading the commercial finance strategy, optimising financial performance, and providing value-driven insights to support business growth initiatives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive profitability and manage risks while establishing effective financial practices throughout the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial finance strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Oversee financial forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning processes to ensure financial sustainability.
  • Provide in-depth analysis and insights on financial performance, market opportunities, and competitive positioning.
  • Collaborate with operational and sales teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance pricing strategies.
  • Lead the financial evaluation of new business opportunities, projects, and investments.
  • Ensure robust financial controls are in place to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Mentor and develop the commercial finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Engage with senior leadership and influence decision-making through data-driven recommendations.

Requirements

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified, preferably with an MBA.
  • Experience in commercial finance or related roles, with a proven track record of financial leadership.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Experience in managing teams and developing talent within the finance function.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic mindset with a solid understanding of business operations and market dynamics.
  • Proficient in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all financial reporting activities.
