We’re looking for Warehouse Operative to join our team in our Operations Team in Spalding, Lincolnshire.

The shift pattern for this position is 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, on a 2-2-3 continental rotation

Westfalia Fruit UK are looking for a motivated Warehouse Operatives to join our team in our brand new facility! You’ll be involved in tasks like receiving and inspecting fresh arrivals, operating modern equipment to keep things moving efficiently, and picking and assembling orders with precision.

Responsibilities include:

• Receiving and inspecting fresh produce deliveries
• Operating manual handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) to efficiently move and store fresh produce
• Picking and assembling orders accurately, ensuring freshness and quality control
• Packing and dispatching orders for timely delivery, following proper handling for delicate produce
• Maintaining accurate stock records using our warehouse management system
• Conducting stock checks and rotations to optimise shelf life and minimise spoilage
• Working in a clean, safe, and organised environment
• Expectations to cover for the Team Leader when needed

Requirements

• Experience working within a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient in following instructions and adhering to procedures
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Desirable:

• Previous warehouse expereince
• Previous expereince handling fresh produce
