Portfolio Support Analyst - 6 Month FTC/ Secondment
IT Services are looking to hire a Portfolio Support Analyst on a 6-month Fixed Term / Secondment basis.
Please note- This is an internal opportunity; external applicants need not apply.
About the Role
- The Portfolio Management Office (PMO) is recruiting for a Portfolio Support Analyst. This role is available as either a 6-month Fixed-Term contract or as a secondment. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to join a close, friendly team that supports all aspects of programme and project delivery. The PMO provides up-to-date best practice standards and guidance, reporting, resource management, risk and issue management, and quality assurance.
- The role involves building effective working relationships with various stakeholders, including members of IT Services and Portfolio Committees, to ensure a pragmatic approach to delivery and the appropriate application of project management methodologies.
About You
- This position is ideal for individuals looking to take the next step in their career and would suit those currently in a role where attention to detail, knowledge sharing and collaboration are crucial to success.
- You will be a confident self-starter with the ability to plan activities around deadlines and be experienced in providing detailed guidance to stakeholders at all levels. The role requires an individual who is equally comfortable collaborating in a team or working independently and has a keen eye for detail whilst seeking opportunities for continuous improvement.
- The PMO values aptitude over experience and is looking for someone who can develop into the role. There is also the possibility to adjust the grade and responsibilities based on the candidate’s experience.
- If you are interested in learning more about the role, please contact Lisa Currie (Senior Portfolio Support Analyst) or Ollie Jaques (Head of Business Management Office).
Application Process
- You will be required to upload a covering letter and CV.
- The closing date for applications is 12:00 noon on Monday 24 March.
- Interviews will take place on Tuesday 01 April and will be face-to-face in Central Oxford.
