Job Purpose:
As the Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, and day-to-day operations of the nursery. You will ensure the highest standards of care, education, and safeguarding while leading a passionate and skilled team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily running of the nursery, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) standards.
- Lead, support, and develop a team of early years professionals to maintain our Outstanding rating.
- Ensure a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance to build an effective team.
- Foster strong relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies.
- Implement and monitor policies and procedures to maintain high-quality provision.
- Oversee nursery finances, budgets, and occupancy levels.
- Maintain accurate records, including safeguarding and health & safety documentation.
- Promote flexible working and term-time-only options to support work-life balance.
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (Degree or Level 5+ preferred).
- Proven experience in a leadership role within an early years setting.
- Strong knowledge of EYFS, Ofsted requirements, and safeguarding procedures.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- A passion for high-quality early years education and childcare.

Pay: £31,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
